A Quick Talk
With a picture meaning a thousand words, I say thank you all to the huge spike in activity. The difference is so extreme it almost feels unreal! The last time such a spike was reached, the forums were on a private host with IPB and it got hacked. This time that's not happening, we're not going anywhere but up! Glad to be taking you with me.
I'm just posting a few comments that I would like to throw out to everybody that is worth posting a new topic about. First of all, if you haven't noticed, the default number of topics per forum page was bumped up from 15 to 20. This increase was due to the fact that the Real Life and Lounge forums are used so much that I can't possibly split up the forums any more than I already have tried to do. As a matter of fact, I don't want to do that anyways. I want us to keep growing! Thusly this number was increased for a convenience. Not really worth posting about, but I decided I would since a lot of members forgot about the "Page 2" button in those forums. Some topics still can use some CPR to them if worthy enough not to be considered spam by the staff  .
Another thing I've noticed a lot of is new members. I appreciate all of the advertisement everyone is doing freely! That's really helping our forum grow, having dedicated members saying "MAN THIS IS TOO GOOD TO PASS UP" gets farther than my word can, beings my word will always be biased due to me creating this specific place. I welcome all of the new members personally via an automated PM, but I hope I can welcome you all individually as well. Please accept my apologies for the wait you must take due to the validation process Josh or myself must take, but it's there for a reason, and that's to simply protect the forums, no matter how stupid that may sound or not. Feel free to contact Josh if I'm not online immediately after you register and he happens to be, because if I'm home I instantly validate you on sight. I'm just not always home and I apologize for that. Also, don't forget to post in the New Users forum!

Postmasters Group Added
From now on, in order to be part of The Dark Legion, you must have 500 posts. Those whom have fallen short but have reached over 100 posts are currently in the Postmasters usergroup. You have an allowance of 500 shouts a day compared to the 200 shouts limit that the standard members group has.
Small update, nothing bigger than that for now. Now get posting! .

New user-profiles!
After staying up quite a while last night trying to figure the stupid thing out, it's done! I've made this tutorial for brand-new forum users (beings I'm intending on throwing this around the school for people to use). Administrators, Moderators, Dark Legion Members, Members, and 0 Post Members can all use these features.

Tutorials Indexed + FREE Ca$h!?1!?1!?1!?!one!?!
Thanks to Nate, we've got more tutorials indexed! Now I generally don't make a news topic for tutorials being submitted, but because of our new and improved forum software, I have awarded him 500 Legion Tokens (250 per tutorial). Hope you guy's get what I'm hinting at .
I know school's dragging everyone back from posting 23178953707043156789 times a day, but if we could keep making an attempt for 1 1/2 - 2 months more we'll be sailing pretty good! Thanks guys, more updates are in the making and a doozie is coming up if I have my way with it .

Staff Changes
Due to issues with the forum staff, all moderators and administrators have temporarily been removed from their positions. Our staff will be decided on member's participation within The Deadly Darkness. So this means that the entire old staff will be re-selected, more moderators may be chosen, or less moderators will be chosen, or an entire new staff will be selected. This could be you! Be on your best behavior and you may see tomorrow with a Staff tag instead of a Dark Legion member  (Yes, this menas you have to have a good amount of posts. The higher activity you have, the better chance you'll be staff!).
This has been done due to the inactivity of all staff members. This is understandable on all accounts for every person, because even I have been extremely busy, but The Deadly Darkness still needs willing staff members for us to keep going strongly. I hope to see members participate in everything that we have on TDD, along with bringing new content towards the forums! We'll see how it goes  .
If you have questions, I'm more than happy to help out with what I'm asking or ideas that you have (Obviously you won't get a staff position if you simply ask for one). I hope everyone actively participates and continues their posting, so thank you to the dedicated members that have continued to show their dedication towards the forums . Thanks, get posting!
